Note: All ratings out of 10 possible, 10 being the best and 0 the worst

Overall real money rating: 6 (Site security: average)

Overall play money rating: 2

Pacific Poker is somewhat like a smaller version of Party Poker: poor software, loose games, good moneymaking opportunity.

Maximum Tables You Can Play at One Time: 1

Beatable Games: 9

Due to factors such as the affiliation with Casino-On-Net, this site attracts the gambler-type opponents you want to play against.  The games are very loose, particularly at 3/6 and 5/10, where you will probably find the loosest games available at those limits on any server.

Game Selection: 4

Pacific only offers the basic five games, and unless you want to play limit hold 'em, Omaha high-low, or 7-stud, you will probably be hard-pressed to find a game.  Also you can only sit at one table at once.

Player Traffic: 8 (hold 'em) / 4 (other games)

You can find a hold 'em game virtually whenever you want, but for other games you must be more time-selective.

Deposit Bonuses / Player Rewards / Jackpots: 4

The deposit bonus at Pacific is pretty hard to clear, although at 25% up to $100 it is pretty generous.  They offer rare re-deposit bonuses.

Software / Peripherals: 3

The software here is simply not high-quality.  The one-table limit is a big handicap for those who enjoy playing multiple tables at once.  The software also slows down unexpectedly sometimes, and it takes up a lot of virtual memory making it difficult to run other programs at the same time.

Tournaments: N/A

Customer Support: 4

Pacific's support team usually replies within 24 hours, which is not a great response time.  Their comments are also frequently less than helpful.

Server Quality: 6

Though they do not experience as many crashes as Party, the server could use some tinkering to make it more stable.
