Note: All ratings out of 10 possible, 10 being the best and 0 the worst Overall real money rating: 5 (Site security: average) Overall play money rating: 2 PokerRoom features very bad software, and good low-limit action. Maximum Tables You Can Play at One Time: 4 Beatable Games: 6 (hold 'em) / 8 (other games) PokerRoom always had very loose Omaha/8 and 7-stud games, but recently the hold 'em action has also been fairly good. Obviously this greatly increases the site's appeal. Game Selection: 4 There just isn't that much variety to pick from here. You'll almost never see an Omaha high or 7-stud hi-lo game going. Only limit hold 'em really offers a variety of limits to pick from. No non-standard games are offered. Player Traffic: 6 (hold 'em) / 3 (other games) There will usually be a few hold 'em tables going at most limits all the time, but for other games, you will only find two or three total tables of stud and Omaha at peak hours. Deposit Bonuses / Player Rewards / Jackpots: 4 The deposit bonus is reasonable generous at 20% up to $100, and it is not all that difficult to clear, at 7 points per hand. You get .5 points for hands raked under $1 and 1 point for hands raked $1 or more. They offer infrequent re-deposit bonuses. Software / Peripherals: 2 Ugh! There are tons of problems with the software. It's ugly, it is annoying to un-auto post your ante/blinds at individual tables, and the poker program often does not respond on your computer, forcing you to exit it. Until they make some improvements, the software may frustrate you to the point of leaving for another server. Tournaments: N/A Customer Support: 7 Generally responsive and helpful, the support team is one of the site's strong points. Server Quality: 5 The
server is generally stable on their end, but the poker client program
often stops responding on your desktop and you must close it.
